Default First time out this year!

Well i finally made it to the track this year, with the new mods; 4.10s, Eaton rear end, sub-frames connectors, SVT focus pump and finally tried the 100 shot jetting on the VCN 1000 still on stock tune! (running an 80 shot before) wasnt happy with my results even though the car pulled very hard off the line. Not one to make excuses but everytime I shifted and the shot kicked in the car spun violently but it felt awesome! put a smile on my face. Keep in mined that this is @ an altitude of 5000+ft. temp.89

First run:
RT....124
60'....2.071
330...5.757
1/8...8.765
miles per hour..83.17
1000..11.364
1/4...13.51
miles per hour..104.67

Second run:
RT...125
60'...2.241
330..5.931
1/8...8.922
miles per hour..83.45
1000..11.488
1/4...13.642
miles per hour..105.40

ON both of these previous runs the Nitrous shut itself off in 4th gear, car kept going lean the system works awesome!!

Third run: N/A
RT...009
60'...2.136
330..5.899
1/8...8.921
miles per hour..81.33
1000..11.628
1/4...13.925 :icon_scra
miles per hour...97.88

Forth run: nitrous kept shutting off!
RT...010
60'..2.141
13.649 @ 99.09

The track wasnt very well prepped there was a Z06 TT with slicks best 60ft was a 1.89 for him 11.26 @ 122mph
Was a fun first run of the year I was hopin 12s but I just couldnt get the BFG drags to hook last year I was pulling 1.8s - 1.9s 60fts. best run was 13.3 minus the new mods.
According to the altitude correction factor I'd be runnin 12.5s @ 112 but I dont like using that thing :confused1 , I must say the VCN system works great probably saved me a blown intake several times!

Sam:

Pull a plug. Be sure to take a look at them especially with the Venom shutting down like that. If I were you, I would verify everything is OK.

Thing is, with your 100 shot and the focus pump, I am suprised this happened. I bet you need 24 # injectors.

FYI, I have been running on the silver jet with no problems. I bet I would have the same problem with a larger shot.

Blake

Hey Blake nice to here from you! Car seems to be running fine, but Ill definetly pull the plugs this weekend make sure everything is Ok? Blake I got to tell you it feels MONSTROUS!! with the new jetting, btw its also "silver" but it has the size engraved on it .060 I thought for sure the focus pump would do the trick but I think what i really need is a tune? Iam gonna get it tuned once i decide what size injectors to go with 24 or 30lb not sure yet? What do you think? This winter i plan on getting VT stage I cams also? ill be Happy with about 400-450hp w/nos and 300 n/a if possible??? I also have the 125hp jetting .065 but I wont mess with that until I get a real gooood tune!

I ment to talk to you about posting the jet sizes of our system on the power adder forum so everyone using the system has an understanding. I got all the sizes and color codes from Python performance, they really hooked me up! Ill have to pm you some time this week so we can discuss the new info!

later Will
