Saturday nite racin

Ok so last night our little mustang group decided we'de call out the Chevy boys since everyone around our area has been scared to race due to all the cops. Well we ended up getting a kid with a modded STI who was really cocky to run to. Heres how it all went.

my 04gt vs '79 camaro...a BS race....1st gear roll side by side then when i went for 3rd i had a fender on him and missed 3rd. camaro won and btw, it's a 7.90 1/8mile car.

me again vs. c6 vette (non z06) 2nd gear roll b/c he was old and didnt wanna slow down any more....i jumped 2 cars on him and he let out of it. then we caught a light.....his wife said "you know your gonna lose it's a vette!" me and my boy laughed. green light...1, 2 cars then let off for traction then 3 to 4 cars after that and he did the loser fly by.

'86 gt on a slick vs. STI kid...1/8 mile run mustang won by about 4 cars. not bad

me vs. sti from a 2nd gear roll....4-5 car my win. Then we went dead stop. I had 20psi in the dr's and told him lemme let some air out and he said no so w/e we ran..he jumped about 1 1/2 off the light i pulled him back beside me in 2nd, then 3rd i pulled 2 cars on him.

'02 gt vs. '02 z28, both have intake and exhaust, the z28 won by about 2 1/2 cars.

'95 heavily modded gt vs. '79 camaro, Mustang won by 3-4 cars.
What a good night it was for the mustangs! This was all over bragging rights within our little groups showing the local 'Stangs will alway dominate the Chevys. And yes we are all aware that street racing is a bad thing but these guys are in there 30's and 40's with me being the youngest.

Our group usually like 75% of the time tries to refrain from doing it and jus go to the track tuesday or thursday night, but theres usually that time when you cant help it. :bash: Sadly my g/f works for the local Sheriffs office to!
