Default 1/4 Mile Time

Ran the stang this past Friday:

60ft: 2.1
330ft: 6.0
1/8: 9.3 @ 75.98mph
1/4: 14.5 @ 94.88

I am going to get my 4:10 gears and my 100 shot of Nitrous pretty soon....Sick of getting 14's........All I have right now is my Flowmaster Catback, and my CAI......Nothing else. I am going to get my SCT, and maybe a 70mm Throttle Body, Accufab Plemuim...........Let me know if i am going the right direction...

Are those the numbers from your time slip? Check again because a .6928 and a 1.+ anything are horrible. A .069 would be okay but a .692 is poop. Check again.
And congrats on the win.

Hey you were better than the guy you ran

Just do like Matt said and you will be fine. Go on the last amber on a sportsmans tree, don't try to time the green. A .600 is six tenths of a second, your goal is 000. Look at it this way, if we were racing and I cut a .060 light and you cut a .660 I'd have a 6 tenth's head start right off the bat.

By the way you did fine, you will get better with practice.

Thanks Blue.... I am going to put 4:10 gears, with a 100 shot of Nitrous in it!!! Just don't know what Kit to get, either the venom, or the NX kit, which one is better???

im not sure, but i have heard how NX rates their kits at the rear wheels and i always hear good things about it(especially with their gen2 kit that you can get for it)...

both are good, venom is safer, nx gives you more power

I race with a guy who has the NX 100 shot kit along with 3.90's and moser axles. He also has exhaust. He runs 12.0-12.20's at 115

Your gonna need those 4.10's to get into the 12's with that auto...I would know..plus you have a dry shot its a bit less than my wet. I would estimate 13.3 in that area.

That sounds about right for the Venom kit and your mod's. Doesn't a 100 shot Venom kit put down about 75 to the rear wheels?

No No No.. I've been to this track a million times... They do things a little different that most tracks. i've gotten a .488 light and it was a REDLIGHT. they don't factor in the .50. so if he ran a .6928 light, that would be like a .1928 light..
