I put my blue chip on ebay, the bids up to $56 now. Better than nothing i guess. Its older but still a good chip, And it made a difference in SOTP when i took it out.

Were these blue chips custom tuned to the car and mods like current chips, or were they just tuned for Auto or manual? And just sold off the shelf as is?

 

Yeah! when I odered mine they tuned it to the cars bolt-ons and the gear ratio they also need your computer code! I actually got mine when they first came out so they where probably still trying to crack that OBDII. I was never too impressed with mine! I had a lot of problems, everytime I sent it back 3x!! It took at least 3wks for me to get it back! they finally got it to work right but i never got any SOTP feel they said they had a lot of problems adjusting for the altitude, it actually ran slower! in a couple of tests that I did myself. i was happy that it kept my check eng. light off and kept my speedo calibrated, thats why i never pulled it out but I switched to 4:10s now so Iam ready to get a good tune for my Nitrous and get my speedo calibrated again. I know my car is runnin a little lean but iam been letting my Nitrous comp. do all the adjusting when i spray at the track, so hopefully Ill get a few tenths knocked off when i pull this thing off?
