Default Antennas

http://mustangtuning.com/8fiblan.html

http://mustangtuning.com/14in-antenna.html

Neither of these are made of that cheap rubber stuff that will eventually bend to where it permanetly will look like it is blowing in the wind. Basically I want to know if these are just like the stock antennas but shorter, and not made out of something different. This was kind of hard to explain so if you are confused let me know.

They are metal, exactly like your stock antenna, only shorter.

I recommend the 14" antenna over the 8". I think quite a few people have had reception issues with the 8". I have the 14" and live in a major metropolitan area and have had no reception problems at all. Just my .02

Thanks for the advice! Do you have any idea how big the stock antennas are? I just cant stand having a telephone poll on my car!! Also do you have any pics of your car so that I could see the 14" antenna on there?

I got the 8 inch from here. I don't listen to radio's same 20 song rotation anyways, so I went for what looked better.

My 8" reception is fine, but I hate radio anyways so it doesn't matter. I only use it for sports while driving to my destination to watch on TV.
