Shorty Antennas

Shorty Antennas
You guys really need to find a new supplier for your shorty antennas. I've had two break on me in probably about a year. The first one broke off when I bumped into it and the second one just broke off while cruising at highway speeds. It left me with just a little stump. I'd be more than willing to pay a little more for one that's made out of better materials that won't break just by driving around with the antenna on.

Both times it was this one:

I was about to buy the 8 inch one and see if that one was any better, but Stephen has that one and it just broke.

That's not saying much. Just saying Stephen alone is like saying broke or is going to break. Hell, I think from now on I'm going to replace the word broke with Stephen'd. lol.
and I've the 8'' for about a week and so far so good! haha

I think that's what I'm going to do. I have the stock antenna in my garage somewhere. I just have to find it.

You guys just need to hang the gay pride flags a little lower on the antenna, it can't handle that much weight.
Seriously though, I don't think I've ever heard of any problems with the shorty antenna's. I got my 14" about a month ago and it's pretty stout, not really any different from stock.. The 8" was on the car for at least a year with no problems and has been passed on the Nick to use now.. Seriously, how are they breaking? Are you running the car through automatic car washes or something?

Exposure to Stephen, causing them to slowly start Stephening, and then they'll eventually just Stephen.
I hope that sums it up.

I've had mine for not even a year and it is already rusting and fading in spots. It bends easily, too. Last time I washed my car, I hit it with my elbow and it bent about 45*. I think Stack Racing makes those antennas... which explains everything.

That's exactly how my first one broke. I hardly touched it and it snapped right off.

I've had mine on my Mustang since 2004 no problems at all. In fact we have very few problems with these antennas and we sell a ton of them. You probably just had bad luck to get two bad ones...unless you are using the antenna for other nefarious uses as suggested by some of your fellow forum members! Just PM me your info and I can get a new one sent out to you.
