14 in. Antenna

I have tried every way of putting the antenna on my 2004 but it will not fit for some reason. it came with the extra black extension but when i try to use it there is a gap that leaves the threads showing. Has anyone else had any trouble or is mine just a piece of ****.

Dont use the extension.

i got the 8 inch too, but had SLIGHT reception problems. Anyone know if the 14 incher gets better reception?

No problems whatsoever with the 14" reception here in St. Louis.

I get great reception with the 8inch in denver.
