Default whats the difference between the motive 4.10 gears?

i mean theres some that are listed at 160 and some that are 130 but other than "lightweight" i see no real difference. can someone explain to me the difference? i just called and i was on hold for 10 minutes so i just hung up. which would be the better bargain for me? i have a 2000 mustang gt with 39000 miles. can somebody please help me? heres the links:

One is made of a different metal than the other. The expensive ones are a lighter material, but the cheaper ones are just as strong. pick whichever you please.

The only difference is that they are made in two different places with two different styles of machining. One style removes more weight than the other one. Thats about it.

if you have a GT you have the 8.8 rear end. Get the 8.8 Gears.

No they will fit your car. Anything on the site, unless otherwise noted, for rear end gears, are for an 8.8 Rear End. Gears for a V6 Will have a 7.5" Rear end note on the item.

On an independent online study (some 4 x 4 website) FRPP ranked SUPERIOR over Motive for less gear whine(noise), reliability, and overall quality. You really get what you pay for with gears. Some things you should NOT go cheap with....

I went with FRPP 4.10's and my mechanic changed his policy to ONLY install FRPP gears in mustangs 4.10's or numerically higher because of the complaints people had with the Motive, Richmond, and PRO 5.0 gears....

Yes, but thats all about to change.

FRPP changed their machining style on their gears. They are coming from a new factory or something. From what we can tell, it looks like there will be increased gear whine with the new FRPP gears.
