Default Lock buttons

So far I've made two purchases with AM. I'm waiting on arrival for my second purchase and I am happy with the results of my first purchase.

Part of my first purchase was a set of the aluminum billet lock & window buttons for my '02 V6 Coupe. The lock buttons fit good. The window buttons, however, are awkward to use on both sides. The buttons seem raised up (higher than the stock buttons), which allows them to tilt side-to-side but fortunately doesn't compromise functionality. The buttons don't fall off, fortunately, but occasionally, the bottom of the buttons will stick on the inside of the hole. It seems like the buttons are 1) too long and 2) the hole on the bottom where the window mechanism fits is too small.

I'm wondering if this is a common occurrence and what the typical remedy is if there is one. My first idea is to heat up a screwdriver and make the hole a little bigger. That might fix the sticking but the buttons still tilt side-to-side (i.e. opposite to their normal up/down function).

Also, what's the scoop with these discount codes I've been reading about? I'll likely make more purchases in the future and wouldn't mind getting in on the fun as soon as I can.

Finally, AM is awesome! Free shipping is GREAT!

I can't comment on the interior pieces since I don't have them (I'm sure someone will probably chime in). But I wouldn't think that were normal. If it were me I would give them a call tomorrow and ask if you might have a defective set. If you do they are really good at getting you a new set. As for the discount code you need to send a message to AMNick on the boards, pretty sure hes gone until next week so you wouldn't receive a response until then

I'd have to see a picture. Maybe they are installed upside down, or not pushed on all the way. You have to use a little force. The odds of getting a single set of bad switches from a CNC machine are slim, but I guess it is possible.
