I also have a wheel problem

I ordered a replacement wheel for my car that was wrecked about a month ago, I just now was able to get my car back from being repaired and get an appointment to have the wheel/tire mounted and balanced.

They told me they cannot put the wheel on but couldn't really tell me why, it seems that the lip isn't as big as my other 17x10.5. I think maybe the center of the wheel isn't correct. It also has the Saleen center cap and I saw a previous thread that said you guys shouldn't be sending out any of these wheels.

I called your 1800 number and was told to take pictures of the wheel and call back when your business office is open. Do I really have to do all of this? I have limited time right now as I work all the time and it seemed like you were able to get this other guy taken care of no problems asked. Let me know what needs to be done, I really need to get my new tire put on before it rains again.

Can you PM me your full name and/or order number.

Edit: It seems some of them are incorrectly coming with the S-Style caps. We can replace them with M-Fire at no cost to you if you receive a wheel with them.

I am going to PM you my info.. but the cap is NOT the problem. The problem is that the wheel is not right. It seems that it did NOT come with the advertised offset. I CANNOT mount the wheel that was sent to me.

Yes, I read that in your 1st post and I can see the difference in the pictures. The wheels have the advertised offset, it looks like just center portion or the lip is just different. That is why I asked for you to PM me your information so I could look into it and set something up for you to be taken care of.

You also made mention of a previous post where I said that no wheel should be shipping with the S-Style cap...I was simply answering that I had looked into it, and it seems that a few where mixed into our wheels and that if anyone got one we would replace it with an M-Fire cap.
