Depending on your finances, a V-6 is worth modding. After about $1,500 into it myself, I finally realized it would never be a V-8, so I bought a used Cobra.

However, I had a Silver '02 auto V-6 that was quick. It had the following mods and I noticed improvements in performance everytime.

- Diablosport chip
- GT Take-offs w/GT Bumper
- MAC CAI
- GT Foglights (looks only)

Under drive pulleys and 4.10 gears were next on my mod list.

The GT Take-offs made the exhaust tone deeper. I have Magnaflow on my V-8, and it is deeper than stock, so I think it would improve the sound, and performance, in your application.

The chip is nice, especially with an auto, 2nd gear chirps are cool! I did not care for the hissing of the CAI when the A/C would cycle. I won't put it on my current car.

I think the wheel upgrades are worth the money, the other stuff, I don't.

Good luck and have fun!
