I Just Put A 3.55 Rear In My Car And Now I Have To Install The Speedo Gear, I Have The Little Gear Im Not Quite Sure Where It Goes In The Trans, I See Too Possible Spots? One Looks Like A Sensor Which I Think It Is, And The Other Just Has A Wire Plugged Into It? Where Does It Go And How Do I Install And Uninstall It?? Please Get Back To Me And Thanks For The Help

well it's near the rear of the trans... it does look like a sensor.. it should have like a lil ditributor hold down lookin bracket holding it in.. all u go t to do is unbolt it, slide it out, pull the clip that holds the gear on the shaft, clip in the new one and plug it all back together...

ok i know what you are talking about i see that and i have unbolted it and slide it down as far as i can get it to go but i cant get it out because it has the sensor type of connecter on it that will only let it slide so far? how do i dissconnect that without breaking the clips that hold the two connecters together? is there an easy way to get to it?
