Default harmonic balancer advise-help

Hi Im ready to purchase a new harmonic balancer for my 1995 mustang gt 5.0 ,automatic car. Last year i had a stock balancer come apart on this car and since im starting to make some motor mods now i need to replace this weak part. i am definetly interested in the ATI super damper but a call to ATI confirmed that this damper has clearence problems with the steering.

1.) i need to know if anyone has had success with the ATI super damper on this year stang
2.) or what damper does work well with this year stang

Any advise will be greatly apprieciated as im trying to find the best damper for this year car

Thanks all
