with gears, try 3.73s since you have an auto. you can put 4.11s on it...but that will eat up your gas. but yeah, put 3.73s.

Flowmasters sound real good on 5.0L Mustangs. I have BBK Headers, Off Road H-Pipe with no cats, and Flowmaster AT Cat-Back, and it gives a nice deep rumble at idle, and sets car alarms off when I floor it!
What mods do you have done to your car. 3.73 gears are usually a good balance between gas mileage and off the line power for most cars.

i had 3.73 gears in my mustang with a pair of mac mufflers and headers, it was a really nice setup, my car was running 12's and it took off the line real fast being an auto. i would say go with 3.73 gears being that it is an auto.

Your gonna need more than exhaust for low 12s with and auto. Ive had flowmasters on every stang ive had. 8 before this one. I went magnaflows this time. After the Xpipe went on its loud when you get into it. But no drone when cruising and a nice idle. And different from all the flowmaster stangs out there.
Go with the 4.10s, Im upping my 3.90s to 4.10s, I just bought a new Rear from a buddie, 31 spline axles and HD traction loc and HD TA cover. Ive got my rear sold and some ET Drag slicks on the way. Low 12s arent easy without traction.
