I just finished the install of my off road x-pipe and bbk headers. Everything was perfect for about a week. Then all of a sudden when i start up the car the idle jumps to about 1800-2000 for about 30secs and the check engine starts flashing. then the car runs like shit for about 5 mins. no power and heavy shaking at low rpms. Then everything runs good. after about 20mins the check engine comes up but it dosent affect the performance at all. I reset the TPS and set the IAC. Me and my mechanic(dad) tried pulling codes with two different machines and we get unable to communicate/error codes. My father seems to think it a fryed ECM. Has anyone had this problem or have any suggestions on what it could be??? I think it might be MAF but i dont know for sure. Thanks.
