You know its the "ricers" such as those damn 1.6 liter Civic SI's that I hate. But the Japanese sure can make some supercars. I mean seriously, as disputed as it is, the supra, rx7, skyline, and more, are all cars with really high potential. They look apealing as well, compared to Civics and all that stereotypical crap you always see.

Want to know how smart I am?
1 - This is why insurance is so high.
2 - I am willing to bet both of those kids have parents that are divorced and they live with their Mom.
3 - Neither of those cars will last more than 10k miles with those guys driving unless they hit a tree first.
4 - Both of them will loose their liscense before the motor blows.

What a story. This is the unfortunate consequence of being a stupid a-hole. Thankfully, they only killed and hurt themselves unless you count the wife and children left behind to suffer. Ever heard a little kid ask their mommy "why isn't daddy comming home?". These guys were morons. The idiots in the video earlier will ultimately end up the same way.
If you want to race, do it at a track. This stuff is pissing me off more and more and I think this story is an excellent reminder for those who need it. Avoid the temptation, it will only end up badly.

To be quite frank with you guys I'm only 17. My first car was a 2004 Ford SVT Focus and for a great reason now, I thank my parents. My dad has a vette, and I always wanted the mustang and the power of the V-8. My parents said that I couldn't have it and gave no reason. I then after one year of driving, having no tickets or any crashes, got the mustang. To be honest, when I had the focus I would street race on highways and 45mph zones. I slowly began to mature, and believe it or not, at the age of 17 I can't stand street racing. Its engraved in my mind the consequences of what could go wrong. Futhermore, no offense to those who post videos on MT, I have seen exhaust vids, and so forth of people going at excessive speeds in their NEIGHBORHOODS. I mean honestly, not only is it a disturbance, but there is a 25mph speed limit for a reason. Pedestrians, cars, etc... that are going at slow speeds.
Anyway, I strongly agree with MT#1Customer. There is just way too many idiots, me being one of them at a time, where they will kill themselves and the people around them.
I don't think there is a problem if you live in a really rural area to hit the gas a little bit here and there, but in a really confined area, its just down right dumb. My condolences go out those who suffer because their loved ones were making poor decisions.
