Haha, to be honest man. I really have no clue, I changed the oil the other day for the first time and tried to get a good look at the exhaust. All I can tell is a X-pipe with welded in cats and somekind of cat back. I couldn't get far enough under the car to look at the mufflers good. Whatever the previous owner put on there...

Well damn. I want to get the Borla Stinger catback. I have it on my GT and love it, but I think for $800 my money can be spent better elsewhere.

I love how clear the reflection of the other car is in the video!

I've got another video saving right now. Takes a while to render then it will have to upload. Probably won't be up until tomorrow night.

I kind of wish I had done the Borla "race pipes..." But as far as I'm concerned, there is no better way to spend money on the car, you hear it everytime you drive it and you damn sure better love how it sounds!

Vid was cool.... Need more whine.

I think it's the XR-1 line? I'm not 100% positive on that, it's late and I'm tired.. lol I don't think that they make a "Mustang specific" setup, but I believe that you just have to get the mufflers and have them welded in. I'll do some more looking into it, I think Bassani has a "race" setup too, it's just a tiny bit more raspy and a little more agressive than the stingers.

Okay yea. The XR-1s are like straight pipes, but not. That'd be sick, but with the cops here they'd be all over my ***. I like the stingers in my GT, and from what youtube shows I like them on Cobras too.

The most bad-*** catback.....The FRPP M55 catback. Youtube it. Pure sex.

Sorry to go off from the subject OP.

Don't have the energy for the youtubing ATM, I'll look later.. They're definitely more refined than a straigt pipe, trust me, one of the guys in the SVTOA here has no mufflers and all you hear is flap flap flap pop flap pop FLAPPPP! Not so good.. lol

Yea Cobras or even GTs with straight pipes sound real bad. Too raspy and metallic sounding usually. That why I like the Borlas, they're a perfect mix between. I might try that XR1 muffler on my flowmaster catback and just cut and replace the mufflers.

If I don't like it I can sell it lol. Someone on SVTP will buy it.

EDIT: Maybe not, they're like 230 a piece lol. Dunno if that's worth it to still have a non-stainless steel catback.

Getting tired of the dumps?

I'd like to try the Borlas out...they're loud (not like LM1 loud) but have a badass tone. They're just expensive.

Or you could go with some Corsa's, they sound good too.

Nah, just wondered what my car would sound like with the aero chambers dumped with the rest of my setup. I do like how they sound.
