That car does sound like poo. Not going to really start in on the fight, but obviously you're posting a video of something for a reason. You know people are going to comment whether they like it or not. So why post if you don't want any comments? Anyways, I have a 4.6 mustang and don't think it's the best sounding car. I'll take a cammed vette, straight pipes on a Carrera GT, Ferrari F430, etc. Don't get all butt hurt.

IMHO, 1st clip, cams sounded sweet, but those small pipes made it bit too raspy. Just too loud I think. But not so bad as to hate it as much as some did. The Z-06 vid. Nasty in a good way, But that's cause the car is beautiful and it's a Vette. The Mustang, very nice, perfect sound, in my ears. This is just my opinion, but I aint gonna slam someone for posting a clip of what they like, and also not gonna slam someone for Hating it.
I never realized how good my Flowmasters really sounded until I took her over 5000 rpms, in 3rd gear. It took on a completely different note once i was nearing redline in 3rd gear. way different than 1st and 2nd. Almost sounded like a race car. But in 3rd gear at over 5 grand I had to let off, speed was becoming a problem, LOL..

The sound of that 312 Y Block is absolutly period correct in that Ford.
You just have to appreciate it for what it is and realize that "back in the day"that's the sound we were looking for, nasty and raspy.
I know ,I had a 312 with dual carbs in a 56.It was pretty sweet for the time.
Then 1969 rolled around and I bought the Boss.Nothing like the sound of 429 cubic inches.Having it new was sweet.
But,the way I have it set up today the sound is compleatly different.
At idle it's a low roar, and at 2500 RPM on up to the limiter at 6500 it is totally awesome.
I'll figure out how to post a vid some day.
Bottom line.don't knock the old school look and sound,it's all good.
