uh....no.

Very little damage, hardly even noticeable.

Good question, they are there to prevent anything from coming through the Lexan windshield.

Courtesy of a blown transmission from another car. The track didn't see the oil until I spun in it, looks like I took one for the team.

You wouldn't believe the damage if you saw it. A slightly bent rim and some paint scuffed off the bumper cover, not a dent anywhere else.

It did. When I smacked the wall, I thought I destroyed the car....I couldn't believe the lack of damage. I breathed a sigh of relief when I got out and saw that.

Yeah, and it felt a lot worse from behind the wheel. I still can't believe how light the damage was. I have had lighter impacts with walls and other race cars that have done more damage than that. I will post a pic once I get back home.

Pics of the damage from the wreck, as you can see, hardly anything for the impact that I took. Really the rim took the blunt of the damage.
