Default Lap at VIR

Here is a lap in a Speedchannel Corvette. This was taken at Virginia International Raceway, a place I will be running at in a few weeks.

I love how after he passes the Mustang and nails it down the straight away, here comes the Mustang passing him and pulling in between him and the NSX. (1:15 - 1:29)

Mike which region did you join? It looks like we are right in between 2 of them. I would love to run Watkins Glen sometime. I grew up there.

I joined the South-East Region. Mainly because it was last years SE CMC Champion who was nice enough to contact me and guide me through getting my waiver for HPDE 1 & 2. I can compete in ANY region though. I will be starting off in the South East and then run a few Mid-Atlantic tracks next year.

My friend and I will be there next Thursday and Friday. A high end maintaince shop's owner and a few top notch mechanics (my friend) are taking their race cars. The owner Matt (Curry's Auto) will have a race 1992 911, and my friend with have a Honda Challange race civic there.

Its no mustang, but trust me, its very fast.

Hes sponsered by Tein suspension, with a fully built JDM Jap Spec Integra Type R motor, and hand ported and polished race heads. Tachs to like 11,000? 12.2 in the 1/4 all motor.

Yeah it does. It takes a good driver too, which he is. Its funny becuase a friend of ours father is the owner of Ferrari of Washington here in northern VA. Well, they have track meets for Ferrari/Lambo/Masarati customers at Sumit Point sometimes, and most get their butts school by that car.
