Wow thats amazing sounds so good

floppy 04-24-2006 12:57 PM

no doubt he's pretty good but no way is he even close to the best in the world... i've been playing for 7 years and im sure if i sat down for a day or two i could play that song for you... hardest part is remembering the whole thing. also, i heard a couple mistakes by him. there are a lot more people than youd think that are capable of playing much more intricate songs than that and at a much faster pace. my buddy jp for example blows me away and i've been playing 2 years longer than him.

it was only to attract attention..hahaha...i kno that hes not THE best but....wow...haha

He's damn good, but i know better personally. I've played for about 3 yrs, I just can't sit long enough to learn whole songs, just snippets. BTW: Acoustic FTW!

acoustic gets boring FAST...

I'd rather sit and learn the hard sh1t and get better...

Alright, without starting a whole new thread, Who is, or Was the greatest guitar player/picker. My vote would be SRV. Or Jimmy Page in his prime, Hendrix? He was too messed up IMHO to reach his potential. Clapton? maybe.. I think Stevie Ray was the best at making music even when he was f-ked up. Maybe this should be a whole new thread.. :punk:

Angus Young ~ ACDC

these guys great too... http://epicrecords.com/g3/quicktime/

Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. Never really been in to rock music, but the first time I heard them (can't remember the song), I wanted to learn how to play guitar. :punk: In fact, if you dig through my vast collection of R&B and Old Skool Rap, you'll come across a few "out of place" CD's by them...just my 2 cents...

ACDC for the win!

practice an hour or two a day and ya'll get good quick... that and if ya got your self a good guitar teacher...

RedFirevert04GT 04-29-2006 10:56 AM

That was really good. I can say I know better personally also, but the guy is pretty damn good.

Best ever, DEFINITELY Stevie Ray Vaughan. His brother isn't too bad either. I think the last ablum SRV ever recorded was Family Style, which of course was with his brother. Damn good CD actually.
