you sure you got stage 2's, lol? those sound odly smooth for untuned stage 2's...and i've hard a few....mabey its the cam...anyway congrates, and GET A TUNE i want to see your freakin numbers!

 

I was thinking the same thing actually, especially with the Full exhaust set up. But I love it!

no... ithe idle isnt rough, normally, an untuned vt stage 2, sounds like a freaking racecar, and you can hear every lope of the cam...yours sounds like an untuned stage 1 or a tuned stage 2

 

no.. the cams weren't degreed. the install would've been pretty cut and dry if it weren't for the valvesprings lol

 

i dunno.. it sounds like a few other untuned stage 2's i've heard. i've also been told it sounds muffled so it might be from the steeda cat-back too. i dunno, i think it sounds much better in person.

 

I think he means the exhaust doesn't "lope" as much as most other stage 2's that we've heard.

well if you look at the second vid the car was still a lil cold, call me crazy but when my sixer is warm the exhaust tone gets alot deeper, maybe it's the same with the Cam, one the engine warms up it'll be louder...and when it's tuned she can play with the right pedel a bit and we can REALLY hear it...

3rd my camera sux too, so like Badfish said i wouldn't be surprised if it's just the camera...lol was that the 7.1 pixel camera u used Csledd?

 

I know. Id rather have less lope then a leaned out engine. Personally I dont like the sound of a lope that can barely keep the idle up.

 

naw.. that camera is a 8.0 mp btw.. this is just a video camera, its not the best

 

Sounds good to me. My idle is about 900 also.

 

btw.. i took it for a drive tonight and on my way home it died at every redlight, every stop sign, and everytime i slowed down to make a turn! lol good times. i took it for another drive later on and it only died once. its weird.

 

here's one more vid.. the car should be at operating temp in this video, so i dunno if there's a sound difference or not. im gonna have a friend make a video of it this weekend with a different camera and see if it sounds any different

Yea, sounds smoother to me, but its prolly the camera, and you arent really getting up close to the exhaust. Glad to see it running Christie. Congrats.

 

I emailed my tune to a friend and he added some more fuel to it for me, gonna load it up today and see if it helps the little issue its having when you step on the gas
