hey i just was wondering if I would win in a race. a guy that I know has a 96 mustang gt with underdrive pullies, new gears, and a CAI. I have a 99 v6 with a CAI and dual exhaust. He wants to race, but i dont want to, unless I have a good chance at winning. so what do you think? think I can take him?

yea now if you had a new like 05 06 v6 maybe you wouldnt get beat that bad, but still think he'd roast you since he has ud pullie's and gears.

 

I'd race him in the wife's 06 for sure.

What gears does he have? What tranny? How old is he, I hope he's not new at racing because well we all know a driver can make a race or lose one.

I can honestly say that my auto sixer can take out non-pi headed GT's (no or very few mods) and I don't have that many mods performance wise. But hey go race him and come back and tell us how it goes. If you lose you lose if you win you win no big deal. That's what makes racing fun every races finish is unknown until the finish line.
