Default were is the oil pan on a 2000 v6 help

help i cant find the oil pan whata the hell

try the bottom of the engine

Its the metal pan on the bottom of the engine its what you take the plug out of to drain the oil from the motor.

yea its the metal thing at the bottom of the engine with the plug in it, and if you unscrew it there is oil in there! :stupid:

Yeah look for the drain plug. The pan on my 2002 is forged aluminum. If the 2000 is the same, I could see someone(novice mechanic) mistaking it for the tranny.

As obvious as it seems... cars can be confusing to a beginner mechanic.
