Default Dynoed my car last night

Yesterday after I got off work I went over to my buddies new shop where he has an AWD in-ground dyno from dynojet. we just put it in last week and have had 3 cars on it...mine was the 4th car on it and the 1st domestic. Since I helped him put it in I get free pulls on it whenever so we were bored yesterday w/ no customers so we pulled mine around and strapped it down.

1st run we did on complete factory specs besides headers and full exhaust. it showed 168.02 hp and 195.10 torque, air temp of 59 degrees.

2nd run: Diablo tuned w/ CAI, Headers and full exhaust 225.31 hp and 267.67 torque. 57.29 hp over nearly stock and 72.57 more torque.

3rd run: NITROUS 100 shot, intake headers, full exhaust 332.60 HP and 400.24 torque. 107.29 hp gained and 132.57 torque gained.

I'm very impressed w/ the numbers the car ran very rich on the nitrous run untill the kit hit then smoothed out very well.

my new E/T's are pending on 11/5 at MIR for Imports vs. Domestics world cup finals. I added a new pic today of the car in the MT site map data base.

nice numbers, but they will probably be lower on a mustang dyno, i have a freind with a gt who got dynoed on a dyno jet, with only bolt ons at 285, dynoed on a mustang dyno at about 260, more accurate for his mods

Spring, its a brand new AWD dyno $100k w/ eddy load also and has been certified and calibrated by Dynojet, so I doubt it would show wrong numbers being the 4th car on it.

Ok seriously unless you have serious engine mods like P&P heads and intakes and a cam to go along with it your V6 isn't making anywhere near those numbers. Yea your not going to get over 50 horses from a tune and exhaust... Only way these numbers make any sense is if you have a V8 and you still wouldn't see 50 horses from just those mods... Where's the BS flag when you need it???

Try adding a T-lok to help with traction, run a MGW short throw shifter I didn't even know K&N made shifters. You don't need a MSD ignition the stock ignition that came on our V6's from ford is acctually very capable for what you want to throw at it just swap out plugs and maybe run some better wires if you want. And don't just run a chip with a supercoupe set-up (I hope you mean the complete engine or atleast forged rotating assembly) get a dyno tune. Then you'll see some pretty decent numbers.

PLease tell em your joking I have a feeling your not. Ok lets be real:

1. Pulleys: have shown about 6-8rwhp not bad I guess from the estimate.
2. TB/ Plenum: Nothing on 99+ V6's no point unless you have an enlarge tb to manifold opening since the stock one is matched to the size of the opening so all your doing is losing velocity by adding a new/bigger one.
3. CAI: Will not give you 10hp!!!!!!!!!!!!! maybe 5rwhp maybe.
4. Headers: NOTHING!!! the stock manifolds on the 99+ cars are very very efficient all the way up to 300 horses actually.
5. Full exhaust: 10 sure I'll give you that one even though realisticly on a dyno you'll see about 5.
6. Chip: Give it about 5-10 reall advantage to a chip is the shift points/ firmness on an auto and yea the advanced timing helps a bit.

Go onto v6power.net or 3.8mustang.com and post this you'll get laughed at to no end. Your actually going to see anywhere from 160-175rwhp from the mods he listed. I know I have BBK CAI, GT take offs, F2 Fordchip, 4.10 gears, t-lok (and yes I know gears and t-lok don't add power so don't try that one). There is no way he's making that kind of power without serious mods to the 3.8...BS FLAG!!!!

Oha nd yes our cars run 190 hp to the crank! Not the wheels, which is what a dyno is testing.

its not that its WRONGLY calibrated, dynojets (especially AWD ones) will lay different numbers down, that unfortunatley are less acurate for mustangs

Ok... maybe I didn't make some things clear.

#1 my sn is cuban3jumper not hopper get it straight don't be a jack ***.
#2 Do you have a GT? Mach? Cobra? If you have a six you are not putting down 250 anything all motor without serious engine work.
#3 Please list your mods if I see that I am wrong then I am wrong but going by your sig...You are no where near even breaking 200...

And I own a 99 4r70w 3.8 I haven't dynoed it so honestly I don't know how much I'm putting down. But like I said post this on a serious 3.8 board where people actually know how certain mods affect our cars and you'll be laughed at to no end. In fact I'll just post this for you and I'll let you know the results...

Nah, Ok just list your mods. Oh and have fun rebuilding that engine when that 100 shot catches up on you with the stock rotating assembly. Do you have a wet or dry kit?
