Default Good brand for exhaust?

hey all,

I've got an 05 V6. I want to get an H-pipe and catback dual exhaust...can someone recommend a good brand? Does a higher price ensure a better product...if so, why?

A guy told me that he got duals for his 98 (cost plus installed) for like 250 bucks. This seemed pretty low to me...is it?

Do mufflers come with the catback exhuast?

Thanks

You got packages all the way from 300-1000. Depends on what you have under the hood and how much you wana pay. You could go a full exhaust with Long Tube headers, h-pipe, and say a flowmaster catback, and that will set you back about 1000. It'll sound REALLY nice once you put Cams and a crank in it.

If your not plannin on doin engine work i'd say any of the Flowmaster or Mac catbacks. on the www.3.8mustang.com forums they have a section where all the people there posted their 3.8 exhaust clips. Personally, I'm waiting to save up for a full exhaust because i'm also planning on getting some engine work done in the future.

Also www.Mustangexhaust.com has some clips but there aren't vary many on there. In conclusion, if you don't wana spend alot go with the FLowmaster or Mac adapter, it's a split Y-pipe, if you wana spend a lil more money and get a better sound save up and get the full thing...(remember though engine work is almost a must).

I don't have a clue if JBA is a good brand, but if you go to

http://www.partshopper.com/shop/2005...xhaust-25.html

and scroll down, you'll sit a kit: JBA 2005 2006 V6 Mustang H-Pipe Catback, which appears to include the H-pipe, catback, and mufflers.

Is this any good or is it crap?

i know magnaflow has cat-backs for '05's. I don't know how they are in person, but if you go their website, they have sound clips.
