Unhappy Need help with my CAI!!!

I bought the CAI for my 2000 V6 and it arrived today. Cool right? WRONG! I tear into the box ready to install the thing and couldn't find the instructions. And I think I'm missing the section that holds the MAF. Can anyone shine some light on this topic please.

the piece of metal that bolts to the fender, should have three (3) gromets, two go on the bottom and one up top. If it looks like a "L" the bottom part points in. As far as the MAF mount it is just one "J" pipe comming from the fenderwell to the MAF, the the MAS, the another pipe going to the throttle body.

I read another post about the MAF location. It was in the black plastic housing. But I also ran into a couple more problems as well. The blue silicon sleeve that goes from the MAF housing to the pipe that leads to the throtal body is too large on one end. Specificaly the end that goes onto the MAF. Which also prevents me from bolting up the J-pipe to the finder, cause it's not long enough with out the proper sleeve. And the other thing that is killing me is the rubber tube that goes from the valve cover to the pipe thats closest to the throtal body is to short. So now I have to find a piece of rubber tubing to extend the length. Pretty easy fixes but enoying at the same time. I just don't know were I could get a smaller silicon sleeve from.

try your local hardware store, look for sewer cuplings, for the hose extention, just get a similar hose that is long enough to run the full length to the PCV rougly about 16" should do it. Hopefully you didnt pay to much for the MAC CAI, I tossed mine away rather quickly.

I had the exact same problem on my intake, so i took it to my local ford performance shop, and they said I was sent the upper elbow from a GT's intake, so nothing would fit right. As far as the vacum line, u can get that tubbing from advanced auto parts, thats where I got mine. And it seems you already figured out the MAF sensor is in the black pipe.
