Default Help with the Dashboard

Hi guys, I am new in this community, but I got a question about the Mustang 2005 dashboard.

Yesterday I was driving and a yellow light appeared on my dashboard. It seems to be a gas thing. It is not the red one that indicates that the car is out of gas. It seems to be a hose that connects to the car, so I am guessing it is has a relation with gas. I was wondering if maybe it was because of the gas cap was not correctly installed, but it is; however, I just remove it and put it back just in case, but the light is still there. I took it to the mechanic and he says the car is not showing any fail symptoms.

Any ideas of what this light can be?

a yellow light is not enough info. take a pic of it, there is more than one yellow lights on the dash i am sure. any light that lights up should be in your owners manual with a reference to what it means
