98 mustang a/c question

Default 98 mustang a/c question

hey guys recently got a 1998 mustang that the a/c did not work when i got,so today i just put in a new condensor and drier,but i`ll be damned if i can figure out where the in-line filter (i assuming that what its called) goes? can anybody send me a diagram as to where it is suppose to go?any help is appreciated thnx bb

I think its called an orfice tube. Its on the line that runs alongside the passenger manifold, the whole line is covered in heat resistant material, its part rubber part aluminum.

If thats the thing your talkin about.

well thnx alot for the reply so quickly,i see the tube ur talking about,anybody have any diagrams to show how to get it out cause i dont see a seperation in it to pull out the old filter and put in the new one? thnx again in advance for the help
