Default Lifter Peck

I just changed my oil 100 miles ago, and I used mobil 1 synthetic with the mobil 1 filter. Got it at advance for like 34 dollars total. I've been using this oil over 15 oil changes. Today I notice my lifters pecking. Its on the passenger side, and as the car got warmer and I drove it more, it went to the driver side too, and got really loud. I also added some coolant that said it mixes with any coolant.

It's a really defined click and clicks harder when its in drive.

Also when I pop off the oil cap I see a little bit of smoke, not much but a little.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

the "smoke" you see is any condensation being evaporated most likely. normal.

Ticking lifters mean they are out of spec, or arent getting enough oil. Hard to say.

Sounds like your oil may be a little low. Or the filter could be fucked and letting trash go through.

Condensation in the valve cover?

I'm gonna drive it some more today. It's warmer out so maybe it will change. I'll try to record a video.

It's still doing it. It's not a really defined sound, just a light click. Sounds like quarters hitting together.
