rear end leak
You may have to buy a new gasket (i don't know if they've got a gasket though..)
And I'm pretty sure you need a rear end oil..
As far as replacing the oil in it..no clue... could probably google it or something..
On the front of the differential on the driver's side there is a plug that takes the end of a 3/8 drive extension.
It takes two quarts to fill it just under the hole.
The V6 should have a 7.5 with an open differential so it really doesn't matter what type of gear oil you use. Regular 85w-90 gear oil should be fine.
The 8.8 limited slip differentials call for 75w-140 synthetic fluid only. If your rear end calls for this it will have a tag on it saying so.
