Default Lookin 4 a new LOOk

well thankz to a couple of the nice ppl here at mustang forums i now know that my 2005 mustang v6 4.0 convertible is a piece of **** and i shouldn't try to add any performance to it cuz it would just suck even more and that i should just buy a new car GT to be exact. So lets go with I dont have 15,000 dollars in my piggy bank to go out and buy a GT now what can i add to my already crappy v6 to make it look nice, Im lookin for a body kit and new rims. i was thinking about black rims since its fire red, has a black convertible top, and says MUSTANG in black on both side skirts.

Like I said in the other thread if you want to make your car faster for under two grand, this is what you should do:

1) Buy a nitrous kit, it'll be the only thing that'll make your car remotely quick without spending 4-5k

2) A tune from vmptuning.com

3) Long tube headers, catted h-pipe, and a relatively quiet muffler (loud mufflers sound like **** on v6 mustangs)

4) any suspension mods if you have money left over

Do you have any pics of your car? It helps a lot with giving appearance advice when we can see what the car looks like.

Go to a web site like imgur.com browse to the image and hit open. Then hit continue.

The next page should look like this:

Name: Eh2jw.png
Views: 6
Size: 503 Bytes

Copy the link that says for message boards. Post that one in the reply box and your photo will show up.

The car looks good. One thing that'll make it look a lot nicer for free is to remove the bump guards in the middle of the door. They're those big plastic lines that go right down the middle of the door and ruin the flow of the car.

Some people will also tell you to remove the rocker stripes on the bottom, but that's personal preference.

Rims and tires would add a lot, as would lowering the car.

The spoiler's really personal preference, if you like the stock one then keep it. If you like it with no spoiler, take it off. If you like the ducktail spoilers, go for that.

There really aren't any bodykits that look good on new edges, though. Unless you want to do a GT500 hood and front bumper. (but on a v6 they don't really look like they're supposed to be there)

Yea id say new rims, maybe go with a GT scoop if you want. I do like the GT/CS front bumpers and diffusers in the back. Also dont listen to ****** out there who say shoulda got a GT, best response is, Shoulda gotten a cobra fuckstick. Rims for sure, springs would be nice, and throw a little bit in the motor like tuner or hell even 4.10 gears.

Default Making your car look better

I have a Silver V6 and I got black out tail lights, head lights, and a black out panel from american muscle right away it was the first and only exterior mods I have gotten to yet and everyone compliments it I think it would look great on your car with some black rims. Just trying to be helpful

THANKZ!! So i guess im gonna go with black rims, removing the door guards, and get black out tail lights and headlights. As for the spoiler im gonna leave on the stock one and i guess no body kit. and i'll look into the GT500 hood. Perfect that should leave me enough for a nitrous kit new tires and a tuner and lowering it. Now, which black rims would look nice? How much lower? Which tuner?

How much lower all depends on how much of a pain in the *** you want your car to be when you drive it. The lower you go, the harder it is to get over speed bumps.

The tuner you want is a used and unlocked SCT flash tuner and then you'll want to buy a custom tune from vmptuning.com You should probably buy the tuner at the same time you buy the nitrous kit.

First off, those people are slightly retarded. Esp with the 4.0s, even if it is a vert, its not hard to make them quick, but it does cost money.

Second off, a body kit is a pos, don't waste the money on one. I'll make fun of you, and I think anyone else with any sort of brain will as well.

Rims would be a plus. Lower the car, and leave it alone for a bit.

If you want to go fast, then do it, save the money and wait.
