Default Pressure leak?

Hey guys, umm well my car has a air leak or something somewhere. What happens is whenever i accelerate hard, the ac swaps from normal vents to the window vent, and this is usually round the 2000 rpm range at 70mph. I asked a guy at dealership and he said i prbly had a leak somewhere, and to bring it in. I figured before i spend 50$ or so at stealership just see if can find it quick. Im just wondering if you guys know a quick and usual problem spot to check, or whatever, thanks.

They said usually its either a hose thats dry-rotted, or slipped off, depending on either it hopefully shouldnt be too much. He did say the head gasket sometimes goes bad, but that it is much more rare. Idk im gunnna take a look here in a minute either way.

You have a vacuum leak on the control valve. Its what changes where the air goes to the vents and is vacuum operated. You can fix it yourself, but you need a diagram of where the hoses are.

Where could i get a diagram? I looked for it in the engine looking at random hoses and i didnt reallly expect to find it and i didnt. We figured it had something to do with the control valve or something, but werent sure. Also what would i need to fix it? Ex: specific hoses or just tape etc.

You don't tape a cracked or broken hose, you replace it. You just buy some rubber vacuum hose in whatever size it is and replace it. Should be able to find a diagram on the internet im sure.

mine does this too BUT not all the time. it does it when i rev really hard, like say kicking it at 25-30 then hitting 40 and it shifting and after it shifts i will notice the vents being changed.. its done it since ive had it BUT only on occasion. a fix would be nice.
