Question throttle bodies and spacers

Im interested in putting an after market throttle body and throttle body spacer on my 09 mustang (4.0) but all the info i've read says the spacers only work with stock throttle bodies. Is this true and if so does anyone have any suggestion for me?

I would have to do more research, on only being able to use stock TB's, but you should be able to talk to one of your local shops to find out id there is a machine shop near you that can make you one, or modify an aftermarket one for you.

BTW, what size TB are you looking at going to? I have also read that getting a bigger TB without changing/modifying the intake mannifold is pretty worthless ( if anyone else can confirm or deny this?).

The power adder section is for Nitrous,Turbo, and supercharger questions only. Moving to v6 tech...

As for your question the throttle body spacer does nothing for power don't waste your money on it. And the throttle body I would only bother with if you had some sort of forced induction like a turbo or supercharger. Otherwise the gain is very small. your better off with a intake/tuner combo for sure if you don't already have one.
