It varies by shop. Check around your area and get some labor quotes. But again, hijacking.

dude... chill with the attitude and try reading the boards and searching a little bit before you hijack a thread. there is a new gears and tuner thread every week. sorry if we're a little pissed about having to answer the same questions every week.

engineman, you're pissed? Talk about short tempered..lol

DeathDiesel, not all of us are "pissed" about this. It just gets tiring answering the same questions every week, or every other week. Like engineman said, look around. Let the search function be your friend, and for the answers you cannot find, pm a knowledgeable member to see if they can locate answers and then depending on their answer create a thread dedicated to it.

so many questions when the answer is easily found, usually via Google, or within this forum board, and a general density is displayed.

You'll need your dad's help to do gears for sure...

I'm a tech, and I knew that since I had never done gears...(we dont do them in BMW land) that I wanted a person with experience doing gears to do my install.

Does not bother me one bit really when people come and ask the same questions. They just want to learn more and most are new to this online forums deal.
