Default take off cobra cat back

Will and 03-04 cobra catback work properly on an V6 '03? I think that the exhaust looks badass from behind due to the fact that it comes under the gas tank vs. over the rear end. Will our solid axle not allow this setup. Plus would the lack of back-pressure kill the power since they are like what 3 in pipes? Just wondering cause a friend of a friend just replaced with SLPs and I can buy for decent price.

no it will not work on your car, cobras have irs thats why its under the gas tank, your sixxer does not have irs so it wont work.

I wouldnt know for sure, but this seems logical. id go with this answer and stick with an exhaust that is made for your v6.

cobra exhaust won't work because of the IRS rear end
