Default So....

The damned allen screw that secures the exhaust tip to that metal rod which connects it to the exhaust hanger came loose, causing the ******* rod to fall out of the hanger and the tip. So My driver's side tip is dangling like a floppy **** and I jerry rigged it with some zip-ties (LOL) to keep it from hanging too low and scraping everything. The zip ties are probably going to melt so I need to get some wire to use instead. But I send an email to SM to see if I can get another rod&screw for the exhaust tip.

Just a little angry. lol

mine as well get them where you want them and have that set screw hole tack welded so you dont have this problem again...i had to do this with my magnaflow tips after i installed a O/R X-pipe... i acted too late because i melted my bumper a little one night racing a goat.

Haha on my POS truck there are three "home made" exhaust clamps made of hose clamps and some wire.
