Records check; used car goes from 156,000 to 15,600?
I did a records check on the car I'm looking at to buy and found something quirky. I want to know what you guys think happened. To me it looks like maybe a typo in the 12/18 entry otherwise the car was driven 19500 miles a month, every month and then had it's odometer rolled back.
If it's a typo then someone just added a extra 0 to the end of 15,600.
what do you guys think?

Yeah thats what I was thinking to. I suppose it's possable but as a rental?
putting on 156,000 miles in 8 months seems unlikely.
In my mind it's much simpler for a clerk to have just hit '0' once to many times than for someone to rent the car and drive it 19,500 miles a month. Thats like driving across the USA several times every month.
What do the rest of you think?
