Default 2003 V6 Exhaust Question.

Hi I just had a quick question, I have a 2003 V6 mustang with a flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust. I was wondering if I could add a Pypes off road x-pipe without changing my current exhaust system or would i have to buy a gt cat back exhaust? thanks

The Pypes one will work fine. Might look into other options for Xs though, I've heard bad things about Pypes....mainly from this site.

Do you currently have one of those kits that hook up to the Y pipe?

It depends how your current setup is. If its using a H-pipe adapter then yeah you can swap that all out. Otherwise Im gonna guess you have a Y from the single pipe that turns it into fake duals. If thats the case you can't just bolt in that X pipe. Nor would I recomend an X pipe on a motor that is even firing.
