EXHAUST
Hey I read some of the "v6 exhaust choices and setups" thread, but it's too much stuff on there. I need personal opinions for my car.
I own a black 2004 V6 3.8L Mustang. The body is just like a cobra xcept it has a mach II hood (not on yet) w/ louvers, but of course it's a wannabe. FR500s w/drag radials. I am going to buy 3.73 gears for it. Oh another Question:anyone know where I can buy hood pins?
I dont know anything about exhaust, my ex had borla's on his GT, but I dont like the way they sound on a V6. I dont know what cats are..Im guessing that is catylic converters. I'm guessing I need a H pipe b/c I want a lower tone, I hate the way ricers sound. But my ex said that if I get a H pipe, Im going to just crap my car up b/c one of his friends had a V6 with a H pipe and it lost performance. Please help me thanks

Mac sounds good in my opinion. I would keep the cats sixers without them usually sound like crap. You could by an H pipe however the easiest thing you can do is go to a shop and have them run pipes from either your Mac cattback or mufflers straight to the headers. With a sixer you don't need a crossover (h or x) but if you want one you can do it.
