Question Wat is better?

A full CAI or a Short Ram CAI (or is it called ram CAI)?

The performance advantages of one over the other are negligable. I had a cold air kit with the filter in the fender on my v6 and it was fine. On the GT I had the JLT ram air and I prefer it more becuase I don't have to get up under the car to remove the filter or put it on. Also if you worry about hydrolock, ram air is the way to go. Gains will be about the same with each.

I´d go with the filter outside the engine bay

On the GT's the fender well ones tend to make the maf get weird readings and thus we stay away from those fender well style ones. Dont know if this is a problem on the v6 cars. Regardless it wont make much a difference at all. For the pure ease of cleaning the filter I would go Ram air style.
