Default okie dokie-

so, so far for performance i have a Dual Exhaust, 4.10's, and TLock. what next? I'm thinking about a XCal Tuner for the Gears. cause everytime i top out on the speedo at 115-120mph i'm doing 95mph( i have a speedo built into my radar detector so it is accuarate). so was thinking that to correct it. and i have also been thinking of nitrous. i bet the transam i have been messin w/ on the road would **** himself if i hot 3,000RPM(WOT) and hit 75-100 shot of nitrous and flyby his ***

well if you don't want the power always there and don't mind paying to fill the tank up, then nitrous would be just fine for you, but if you just want to be able to lay the pedal to the metal and have some decent power then save for a supercharger. As for the tuner, do that no matter what you decide, right now you are clocking a lot more miles then you are actually putting on the car.

xcal is much better than diablo from what I have read. as for V6 mustang power, I would just get the X3, it is the same price as the X2 and probably has a few more options then the X2.

Those who talk **** about filling bottles just dont understand the point of nitrous. Its for those of us who dont need to pay for 93 octane everyday and only need the extra power when we want it. The fact thats its very cheap to get going is a plus. And any Ford efi kit will do you well. I run a Compucar efi kit jetted for anywhere from 125-150 depending how i feel(the 125's are in it right now). However you cant beat a kit from pretty much any one company. I would look for two things, a kit with pricing you like and the other is features you like. Dont get venom they suck.

We have lots of good nitrous info in the power adder section.

The most popular kit for the v6's is the ZEX brand. It has the cheapest kit and is the easiest to install. and will run a big enough shot for what we can hold.

75-100 shot is max on stock internals. 75 shot is run the most, but with a good tuner 100shot will be ok.

AM has a butt load of Zex Products now. I priced everything and with our discount it comes to around 1G. Thats with the Wet Kit, Purge Kit, Bottle Warmer, Window Switch, Gauge, Blow down kit. etc.

Nitrous isn't dangerous if you do it safely, and the right way!

..I don't know about zex being one of the cheaper kits..

Dynotune nitrous has some nice kits for fairly cheap

Same with Nitrousworks..

I'd buy the tuner first..from either vmp or am...xcal3..and with future mods add in that nitrous.
