Default Gears, CAI or Throttle body?

I have a Manual V6 2000 mustang. I recently put on a new exhaust system. I went true dual with magnaflow mufflers. I was wondering what you guys sugguest i do next i was kinda torn between gears a cai or a throtle body. I know a cai would be the easiest and probably the cheapest but what would give me the most bang for my buck?

gears, hands down. 4.10's for your sixer would make it a lot of fun.

But if you do a lot of highway driving I would go with the 3.73, and CAI would be the more popular mod to do next. Throttle bodies I've heard don't do much... I can't really say cuz I don't have one, and havn't seen any one around my area that does. But I would say gears.

Best bang for the buck is the gears. he has a manual v6, 4.10's are fine and will not harm his fuel mileage by much at all. Not enough to justify not going with the 4.10's.

Tb is a waste of money on stock 3.8 motors.

maybe 1mpg, and honestly the V6 needs them!!

and just to add the cai and the tb aren't going to have any noticeable affect.

gears. you won't get anything to yell about from the first two options, unless you chip or tune it.

manual don't need anymore than 3.73's in a v6. 4.10's are overboard for a regular driven car.

the Trannies that come in are v6 manuals a T-5's that are geared really low. there is no need like the GT's to go to 4.10's. The T45 they use i dont think is geared as low.

with 3.73's i was 70mph at 2400rpms.

-nod- Go with 4.10s and you'll never get to listen to that low growl area of your exhaust. hahaIf it's a stick I'd go with 3.73s

I fixed it for ya.

I have the t-45 and I went with 3.73's. If I had a v6 I would have gotten 4.10's.

no your car will not top out at 70mph, I would imagine somewhere in the 125-135 range, as far as gearing/rev limiter is concerned, but more importantly I don't know if we have enough hp to get there in any hurry, we would need a really really long road, lol! Not 100% sure, but I am sure someone on here knows the exact~ top speed with 4.10's in the auto tranny on a single port. Oh and since you have an auto, most guys with autos go the route of 4.10's.

LOL tell that to my tires. i get thrown into boost like a 12 year old boy at catholic church meeting.

3.73's are plenty. 4.10's are recommended for auto's but not manuals.
