i recently got my 04 40th year anniversary edition mustang back in june of last year with 30 mile on it for 10k
i was stoked
i just heard about this site today
and its amazing
just thought id give a shout out to all you v6s guys
and gts and cobras a nice but they also 8grand more so screw them haha

naw i just found out about this site
but ive been wanting to upgrade for a long time
and ima start noob and go for exhaust first
i wanna get her sounding mean
but im a noob and have to consult with my mechanic cuz to see if its worth gettin sutff from here or ebay or what
and then if a dealer would be more efficient than me and him tinkering with it hahah
but def exhaust then gear then body kid
i got the standard 2door coupe and the only thing i like about it that i dont wanna change is the reverse intake look on the hood

you can put a kit on it, but stick to things like saleen, roush, cobra & steeda.

and everyone here seems to have one
gotta make yours unique
i can take my 20 min drive to school and pass over 15
and then there are even more at my school
what frustrates me is all the spoiled kids whose parents got it for um
i pay for mine every month =)

naw i think i want black bullitt rims
with a black bullitt fuel cap
a saleen bumper and spoiler or just keep mine cause the 99-04 truly have nice tails
im really iffy on getting a spoiler for it tho because i think it ruins the look of the tail end
the only way i would put the spoiler on is if it helps at high speeds with control but i dont seem to have a problem now so im not even thinking about doing it
and i think ima do something to the front bumper but im not sure yet
and dont get me wrong i <3 my mustang but like i said everyone has one and it looks dull the way it is because of the quantity of them in my area

from one 6er to another welcome aboard. as far as changing the hood i say go with a 00 cobra R hood, ive got one on my and it looks amazing.

not trying to steal your page but is it possible to put a 2002 GT hood with the hood scoop on the v6?

im usually in polk or hillsborough tho
but if u know how to install exhaust then you might be my new best friend

 

yes very much possible, but if you have the 03-04 v6 hood you cant just put the hood scoop on you will have to get a whole new entire hood.

 

thats what im looking for. AM doesnt sell it. only the shaker one. ive only seen them on GT when im in my car so i dont know if they are like the shaker ones. or what ever its called.

Im assuming you have a 2002 v6 and your hood is NOT reversed in that case all you need to buy is a hood scoop. I would recommend just going to your local ford dealership and getting one.

 

if reversed means going into the hood, yes i have that one. but im just looking to replace the whole hood. i wanna do the out side of my car first. when i bought it the front bumper had a couple of sratchs in it and a dent from the previous owner. i want it to look awesome
