I know this is probably a dumd question but. Could you fit a cobra exhaust on a v6 or a gt.

I am getting an x pype for my V6 and was just looking at all of the different types of exhaust systems. And I was just wondering what i could put on. Which exhaust do you think will give a V6 the loudest and throatiest sound?

 

go no youtube and look up v6 mustang exhaust.

 

well an x pipe wont give you the loudest sound an H pipe will.
an x pipe will give you better flow.

 

you could probably make it work. My question is why? you getting someones stock cobra mufflers at a bargain, or trying to fit up the whole system? Otherwise it would be just as easy to get a third party muffler like magnaflow, flowmaster, MAC, Etc.

Edit: I ask why just because i'm curious not because i think it's a bad idea or anything

 

I was just wondering because the cobra exhaust looks cool the way you can see the pipes from the back.

 

thats b/c the Cobra has IRS and the kit has to work around that
