Do GT x/h pipes fit onto our v6s?

without modding them no they dont. The mod motor is much wider then many pushrod motors including the 3.8L.

you just need a mid pipe
but you dont need a x pipe, straight fire engine. but if your doing it for the sound i understand

I want some sound..the performance drop I imagine can't be that much..

And by a mid pipe you mean..what? a H?

Right now i'm on a dual exhaust..but idk what you call it..two seperate exhausts running from the heads back..no pipe connecting the two.

a mid pipe is an x or h pipe, it is still considered dual exhaust if you have them

I would say that is straight pipes and that is fine i guess. The only difference is that a H has a equalizer pipe in between the 2 pipes to balance flow.
