Default Chopping.

What would chopping the muffler off and cutting up to the y-pipe do for the loudness of my exhaust until I put the true-dual pipes on?

Would that affect the hp, torque, or anything along those lines?

Just thought I would add my input since that is exactly how my exhaust is right now, not intentionally though, my pipes were rusting out & I had to get then cut off just so they weren't dragging on the ground I have been driving like this for a few months because I am having some trouble coming up with the money for the true duals I am going to put on. But anyway, it does sound louder but it is kinda ricey as everyone else has said, especially when you get on it. I dont think that I would cut my pipes like this intentionally though if I had the choice.
