twin screws supercharger
i decided on saving up for a S/C over the turbo cuz i dont want to worry about lag, turbo timers, and more installation money, etc.
im looking for a good S/C for my 1994 V6 3.8 (1000 miles on it) preferably one that will give me the most boost at low rpm's so i figured the twin screw SC would be great.
however just like the turbocharger, i couldnt manage to find any twin screw superchargers for my stang which to be honest, gets pretty frustrating. does anyone have any links to a website that has what i need. (doesnt have to be a twin screw as long as it boosts at low rpm's) thanks!

i believe that the m90 supercharger came on thunderbirds(can be had for about ~300) would be the roots style supercharger you are looking for. If you go over to 3.8mustang.com they have several right ups on this swap, and what it requires, and all that stuff.

i would recommend going to tmaturbo.com...buying the street kit for 3650
no one makes a real powerful twin screw...the supercoupe one may give u like 50hp
i would go turbo...you can make more power with less stress on the engine...and if u buy one from tma everything is already built for your car...you just have to install and tune...etc
or buy a used supercharger...like a procharger or vortech...those can be had for like 2k or less

Summary: It’s a LOT of work. It takes a LOT of time. It will cost about $1000-1500 if you are running a completely stock mustang with single pipe exhaust. In the end, a relatively stock SC setup can put you into low 14’s with near 100mph traps. A particular individual on this site that is a bit tired of being asked questions did this swap. It’s a single port auto, stock mustang short block, minor V porting on blower- not hard, stock GT exhaust, 2.73 open differential with BEYOND crappy tires. His best time was a 14.3x at 98.x
Those are 99-04 GT times, and he has enormous potential for improvement.
