Default Might as well make one - MOD LIST

Basically for the past month or so, all I have seen is "I got a stock v6, what do I do to it?" Just about all of us have asked this... but from what I have seen, theres no list...so to HOPEFULLY make it easier for many of the new comers in the future... here we go

(Note: I'm not great or anything, but I do have a decent idea on what to do =p)

1. Exhaust - Basically, swapping out your single Y pipe over to a dual H or X
Many brands for this, heres a few:
Flowmaster / MAC / Magnaflow / Bassani / Borla / Pypes / SLP / Roush / Steeda

(theres tons more to choose from )

2. GEARS 4:10 or 3:73 ( I beleive thats the gear..)
You can find these on Americanmuscle, and a few other sites.

3. TLOC - Without this, you get one tire spinning.. so you'll be wanting this.

4. Tuner Chip - Diablo Sport / SCT From what I know, is with the gears, you're going to need a chip, atleast I think thats what they told me on automatics.. I would contact Justin @ VMP for a tuner, but Americanmuscle sells both brands as well.

5. Intake - They all do the same thing, I'd just pick up the 75 dollar one off Americanmuscle.

Those are the 5 basics. I would recommend Headers as well, and if you've dropped that sort of cash, dish out an extra $250 and get yourself some springs and lower the car.

For MAJOR increases in horsepower (were talking about over 50hp here ect.) You'll want either 1. Nitrous 2. Turbocharger 3. Supercharger

These three will cost you into the thousands. I was priced for a ATI Procharger 3,000 for that, And I'm lucky and its only $550 for the install.

You can purchase Headers, Exhaust, Tuner, Intake, Gears, Posi, Nitrous on Americanmuscle.com shopping around won't hurt any though, you can search for different brands ect.
