Default Third Brake Light

i am looking to buy a new third brake light. my stang has no spoiler, so my third brake light a really really bad, and damaged cause of the sun. so does anyone know were i can get a new one for cheap, because all i have foubnd was this site http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/lighting3.htm but they want $90 bucks. so if you know of any place cheaper, or any decals or tint that i could put on it to cover the whole thing, please let me know.

Try some of Meguirs plastic polish products or use some toothpaste with fine grit.

Read this post I just did this on my headlight you gave me the power to do it, "Just for Mustangs, in five minutes, gets the yellow out". If you want deep scratchs out it will be more elbow grease and you will have to use the method above. http://www.mustangtuningforums.com/s...0423#post20423

Thumbs down

Mine also needs replacing too. The protective barrier came off. Thus lost the shine in the third brake light. Ford wants $100 for a replacement.

well i did that whole sanding thing to my third brake light. i used 400, 600 and 2000 wet sand paper, and sanded it for about an hour, and after that i put some chrome polish on it ( cause i coulden't find a place that sells plastic polish) anyway it worked out really well, and looks brand new!
